As Senior Vice President – Data & Insights, you will partner with re/insurers, agents, and brokers to accelerate their data‑to‑insight journeys. You will lead the capability from the front—driving business growth while ensuring successful delivery of data engineering and BI initiatives.

Skillset:

Core Leadership & Strategy

· Define and drive enterprise data & analytics vision aligned to business priorities

· Translate business objectives into scalable data strategies and measurable outcomes

· Incubate and scale new data-driven offerings and growth engines

· Lead cross-functional initiatives and influence executive stakeholders

Data & Technology Expertise

· Strong understanding of modern data architectures (Lakehouse, EDW, Cloud platforms)

· Expertise in data engineering, BI, advanced analytics, and AI/ML adoption

· Define standards for data governance, quality, privacy, and compliance

Business & Domain Acumen (Insurance-focused)

· Good understanding of insurance/reinsurance value chain (UW, Claims, Finance, Exposure)





· Identify high-impact use cases to drive business value through data

· Align data initiatives to revenue growth, client outcomes, and operational efficiency

Delivery & Execution Excellence

· Own end-to-end delivery of data, BI, and analytics programmes

· Establish scalable delivery models (pods, COEs, shared platforms)

· Ensure adherence to KPIs, SLAs, quality standards, and client expectations

· Drive continuous improvement, automation, and innovation

Client Engagement & Growth

· Build and manage senior client relationships and act as a trusted advisor

· Lead solutioning, presales, and proposal development

· Drive account expansion, revenue growth, and client satisfaction

· Position organisation as a thought leader in data & analytics

People Leadership & Capability Building

· Build, mentor, and scale high-performing data & analytics teams

· Foster a strong data-driven culture across the organisation

· Drive talent strategy (hiring, retention, upskilling, leadership development)

Innovation & Transformation

· Drive AI-led and data-driven transformation initiatives

· Build frameworks, accelerators, and IP to differentiate offerings

· Promote experimentation, PoCs, and next-gen analytics capabilities

· Anchor data as a core driver of enterprise transformation

Governance & Risk Management

· Establish strong data governance, controls, and compliance frameworks

· Ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI

· Manage delivery risks, escalations, and stakeholder expectations

Qualification and Experience

· An engineering degree or an equivalent degree in computer science / related field or equivalent experience.

· 20+ years of progressively responsible experience in data warehousing, data migration and reporting solutions.
