Company Description GIPFELHR SOLUTIONS, LLP has been mandated by our partner to Identify a Senior US Tax Consultant-Form 990-: to support the preparation and review of tax returns for US tax-exempt organizations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with IRS Form 990 compliance, solid analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with US engagement teams to deliver accurate and timely tax returns.
Location: Gurugram, Opp. Golf Club., Hybrid Work.
Experience: Min 3-5 Yrs hand on exposure in IRS Form 990.(This condition is Mandatory)
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and assist in reviewing IRS Forms 990, 990-EZ, 990-PF, and related schedules.
- Prepare workpapers and supporting documentation for nonprofit tax engagements.
- Analyze financial statements and trial balances for tax return preparation.
- Ensure compliance with IRS regulations applicable to tax-exempt organizations.
Assist in preparing public support calculations and private foundation reporting.
- Support the preparation of Form 990-T (UBIT) where applicable.
- Coordinate with US engagement teams to obtain required client information.
- Perform tax research on exempt organization issues.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned engagements while maintaining quality standards.
- Identify issues and escalate complex tax matters to senior team members.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with internal quality procedures.
- Stay updated on IRS regulations and developments affecting nonprofit organizations.

Strong hands-on experience in:

- Form 990-T (UBIT)

- Schedule A, B, C, D, G, I, J, L, M & O
- Financial Statement Analysis

Required Skills & Qualifications 3–5 years of experience in US Tax with hands-on experience in Form 990 preparation.
- Experience working on nonprofit/exempt organization tax returns.
- Strong understanding of IRS regulations governing exempt organizations
- Experience with US CPA firms is preferred.

- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
Any Graduate is fine, but working knowledge of IRS Form 990 is non negotiable
