Job Summary

JD - Senior Performance Engineering professional responsible for leading performance assurance activities for ANZ banking applications. The role includes defining performance strategy, workload characterization, test planning, execution, bottleneck analysis, capacity forecasting, observability setup, and performance optimization. Candidate should possess solid experience in banking transformation programs, cloud-native architectures, API ecosystems, and stakeholder engagement, with the ability to lead teams and drive performance engineering best practices across the delivery lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead Performance Engineering Strategy for ANZ banking applications by defining performance goals, NFRs, test approaches, and governance across the delivery lifecycle.
- Drive End-to-End Performance Assurance , including workload modeling, test planning, execution, capacity forecasting, and release readiness validation.
- Analyze and Optimize System Performance by identifying bottlenecks across applications, APIs, databases, cloud infrastructure, and distributed architectures, and driving remediation.




- Establish Observability and Monitoring Frameworks using APM, logging, tracing, and analytics tools to ensure proactive performance management and production stability.
- Lead Stakeholder Engagement and Team Enablement by collaborating with business, architecture, development, and operations teams while mentoring engineers and promoting performance engineering best practices.
