Role Description The Senior Tax Accountant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Chandigarh. This role is responsible for managing direct and indirect tax compliance, overseeing tax preparation and filing for the company and its projects, and ensuring adherence to relevant tax laws and regulations, and invoicing. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing and preparing tax returns, analyzing financial statements for tax implications, maintaining accurate accounting records, and generate invoices.

Accountant will collaborate with finance and project teams to reconcile accounts, address tax-related queries, and support audits by preparing documentation and responding to regulatory authorities. The role also involves identifying opportunities for process improvements in tax and accounting practices and providing guidance to junior team members.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Tax Compliance and Tax Preparation, with a solid understanding of Tax regulations and practices.
- Candidates should possess skills in preparing and analyzing Financial Statements to support accurate tax calculations and reporting.
