About the Role

We are seeking an energetic, detail-oriented, and student-focused Senior Study Abroad Counsellor to own our international admissions pipeline from end to end. In this role, you will be the primary driver of student success—taking candidates from initial profiling and career counselling all the way through university selection, rigorous essay/document curation (SOP/LORs), application submission, and final visa filing.

Key Responsibilities & End-to-End Lifecycle Management

- Comprehensive Student Counselling: Lead 1-on-1 discovery and advisory sessions with prospective students and parents, mapping out academic profiles, career goals, and financial viability to recommend optimal courses, universities, and study destinations (UK, USA, Germany, and beyond).
- End-to-End Application Ownership: Oversee the entire application lifecycle, ensuring zero-error submissions across global university portals.
- Editorial Oversight (SOP & LORs): Critically review, structure, and refine student Statements of Purpose (SOPs), Essays, and Letters of Recommendation (LORs). Ensure every narrative is compelling, authentic,



and tailored precisely to individual university criteria.
- Complete Visa Execution: Take total ownership of the visa documentation and filing process. Provide meticulous guidance on financial proof of funds, sponsorship affidavits, interview preparation, and compliance with complex immigration regulations (e.g., US F-1 visa protocols, UK Student Visa rules, and German student visa/blocked account requirements).
- Admissions & Scholarship Strategy: Stay ahead of shifting university deadlines, admission criteria, entrance exams (GRE, GMAT, IELTS, TOEFL, Duolingo), and global scholarship/funding opportunities.
- Institutional Partnerships: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with university representatives, international recruitment partners, and testing agencies.
- Outreach & Conversion: Conduct seminars, webinars, and info sessions to drive engagement and hit assigned student enrolment and conversion targets.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and provide functional guidance to junior counsellors as needed, standardizing best practices across the counselling desk.
- CRM & Documentation: Maintain absolute data integrity by logging all interactions, follow-ups, and conversion stages accurately within the CRM system.

- What We Are Looking For

- Native / Local to Pune:



Candidates must be permanently based in Pune, Maharashtra, or already established locally.
- Strictly On-Site: This is a full-time, office-based role. Work from home or WFH requests will not be considered.
- Experience: 2 to 5 years of hands-on, end-to-end study abroad counselling experience with proven expertise in the UK, USA, and German markets.
- Technical Mastery:
- Demonstrated track record of successfully reviewing and shaping high-impact SOPs and LORs.
- Thorough, hands-on experience handling complex visa filing processes and financial documentation.
- Credentials: Recognized international education certifications (such as ICEF ITAC, British Council, QEAC, or equivalent) are preferred.
- Skill Set: Exceptional communication, cross-cultural empathy, and presentation skills. Highly organized, deadline-driven, and comfortable operating in a target-oriented environment.
- Tech Literacy: Proficiency in CRM platforms, Microsoft Office suite, and collaborative workspace tools.
