Role Description The Senior Study Abroad Counselor is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad. This role involves guiding learners through the entire study abroad process, including understanding their academic and career goals, recommending suitable countries, universities, and programs, and explaining admission requirements and timelines.

The counselor will support applicants with application forms, essays, documentation, and interview preparation, while coordinating with institutions and internal teams to ensure smooth processing. Daily responsibilities include conducting counseling sessions, organizing information sessions or seminars,



maintaining accurate records in counseling and CRM systems, and providing regular follow-up and updates to learners and families. The role also includes staying current with global education trends, visa and compliance requirements, and university partnerships to provide accurate, up-to-date advice.

Qualifications

- Strong counseling and advisory skills, with experience guiding learners through study abroad or higher education decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, including clear spoken and written English and confident presentation skills.
- Proficiency in organizing and managing application processes, documentation, timelines, and follow-ups with attention to detail.
- Ability to use office productivity tools and CRM or student management systems for record-keeping and reporting.
- Solid understanding of international education systems, admission criteria, and visa procedures for major study destinations.
- Demonstrated capacity to work in a fast-paced, learner-focused environment, managing multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, Counseling, Management, Humanities, or a related field; prior experience in study abroad counseling or education consulting is highly preferred.
