Role Description We are seeking an experienced Senior SRE Engineer with 5 to 7 years of experience to support and maintain payment applications and related platforms in a agile, cloud-based environment. The role focuses on ensuring operational stability, monitoring application health, managing production incidents, supporting deployments, and driving proactive issue detection across critical payment systems.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Azure cloud environments, DevOps practices, SQL, and production support, along with working knowledge of .NET applications and monitoring tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide operational support for cloud-based payment applications and supporting platforms.
- Monitor application health, performance, and availability across production environments.
- Utilize Azure cloud services and monitoring platforms to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues.
- Support CI/CD processes using Azure DevOps and assist with deployment and release activities.
- Analyze application logs, system behavior, and operational trends to proactively identify potential issues.
- Write and modify SQL queries to extract, validate, and analyze operational and business data.
- Troubleshoot .NET application runtime issues and support production stability.
- Manage and respond to incidents, s, and operational events in accordance with established support processes.
- Collaborate with engineering teams, SMEs, and stakeholders to understand application architecture, dependencies, and business workflows.
- Support batch job scheduling, payment processing activities, integrations, and related operational workflows.
- Contribute to continuous improvements in monitoring,
