Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Machine Development / Application Engineer with 8+ years of experience in automation and machine development.

Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in Special Purpose Machines (SPM) is mandatory.

The candidate will be responsible for machine development, PLC/HMI programming, automation integration, commissioning, troubleshooting, and application support.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement automation solutions for Special Purpose Machines (SPM).
- Develop and modify PLC programs for machine automation and sequencing.
- Develop HMI applications and machine operating screens.
- Work with Servo, VFD and Motion Control systems.
- Integrate sensors, actuators, safety devices and automation components.
- Handle machine development from design/concept stage to testing and commissioning.
- Perform machine testing, debugging and troubleshooting.
- Conduct FAT and SAT activities.
- Commission machines at customer locations when required.
- Troubleshoot PLC, HMI, servo, VFD, sensors and communication-related issues.
- Work with industrial communication protocols such as PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, EtherCAT, Modbus and similar protocols.
- Coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical and Production teams during machine development.
- Improve machine performance, cycle time and reliability.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
- Provide technical support during machine installation and commissioning.

Required Skills
- 8+ years of overall experience in Automation / Machine Development.




- Minimum 8 years of SPM / Special Purpose Machine experience – MANDATORY.
- Strong experience in machine development and automation.
- Strong PLC programming experience.
- HMI programming and development experience.
- Experience with Servo, VFD and Motion Control.
- Positive knowledge of machine sequencing and interlocking.
- Machine commissioning and troubleshooting experience.
- FAT / SAT experience.
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Ability to independently handle machine development and application activities.

PLC / Automation Platforms Experience with one or more of the following:
- Siemens / TIA Portal / WinCC
- Mitsubishi
- Allen Bradley / Rockwell
- Omron
- Schneider
- Beckhoff / TwinCAT
- B&R;
- CODESYS

Qualification Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, ECE, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, Mechanical or a related engineering discipline.

Mandatory Requirement

Minimum 8 years of SPM / Special Purpose Machine / Machine Development experience is mandatory.

Candidates with only PLC programming, electrical maintenance, or general service experience without SPM / machine development experience will not be considered.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a senior professional who can independently handle:

Machine Development → PLC/HMI → Motion/Servo → Integration → Debugging → FAT/SAT → Commissioning

Strong hands-on SPM experience and the ability to troubleshoot and develop machines independently are highly preferred.

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
