About The Role

We are seeking a hands-on SAP MDK Lead with strong experience in SAP Mobile Development Kit (MDK), SAP BTP, and mobile solution architecture. The role combines technical leadership with hands-on development, requiring the candidate to design, develop, deploy, and support scalable SAP mobile applications while mentoring developers and engaging with clients and stakeholders.

The role involves leading the end-to-end design and development of mobile applications using SAP MDK, including architecture definition, configuration, coding, debugging, code reviews, deployment, and technical governance. The candidate will integrate mobile solutions with SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP BTP, OData services, REST APIs, and backend systems.

The position requires expertise in online/offline data synchronization, mobile application lifecycle management, deployment, versioning, transport, and release activities across development, QA, and production environments. The candidate will also troubleshoot application, integration, device compatibility, and performance issues.

The SAP MDK Lead will collaborate with functional consultants, architects, business stakeholders, and project managers, while supporting solution design, estimation, SIT/UAT, hypercare, and production activities. The role also includes mentoring junior developers and ensuring adherence to development standards, documentation, security, and quality processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end SAP MDK mobile application design, development, deployment, and support.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership through coding, configuration, debugging, code reviews, and deployment.
- Design mobile integrations with SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP BTP, OData services, and backend APIs.
- Define application architecture, reusable components, development standards, and best practices.
- Implement online/offline capabilities and data synchronization mechanisms.




- Manage mobile application deployment, versioning, transport, and releases across environments.
- Troubleshoot complex mobile, integration, performance, and device compatibility issues.
- Mentor developers and collaborate with cross-functional teams on technical design, security, testing, and production support.
