About The Role

We are seeking an experienced IBM Sterling OMS Developer to design, develop, customize, and support enterprise order management solutions. The role requires robust expertise in Java/J2EE, Sterling OMS APIs, order management workflows, integrations, and database technologies, with experience delivering scalable solutions in dynamic environments.

The role involves developing and customizing IBM Sterling Order Management System (OMS) solutions, including order processing, inventory management, sourcing, scheduling, returns, and related business processes. The candidate will work with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

The position also involves integrating Sterling OMS with e-commerce and enterprise platforms using REST, SOAP, JMS, and IBM MQ, as well as troubleshooting production issues, performing code reviews, maintaining technical documentation, and following development best practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and implement IBM Sterling OMS solutions.
- Customize Sterling OMS configurations using SMA, CDT, and related deployment tools.
- Develop order processing, inventory, sourcing, scheduling, and fulfillment capabilities.
- Build integrations with enterprise and e-commerce platforms using REST, SOAP, JMS, and IBM MQ.
- Develop and maintain applications using Java, XML, XSLT, JavaScript/TypeScript, and related technologies.
- Troubleshoot Sterling OMS issues and provide timely production support.




- Work with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to development best practices.
- Create and maintain technical specifications and development documentation.
- Stay current with Sterling OMS features, technologies, and industry trends.
