About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help build the technology that powers our network planning, transportation, capacity planning, and shipment operations .

What You’ll Do

- Architect, build, test, and deploy scalable applications supporting our transportation network.
- Design and develop features across network planning, transportation execution, capacity planning, and real-time monitoring .
- Translate complex business and technical requirements into scalable software solutions.
- Own projects end-to-end — from inception and architecture through development, testing, deployment, and delivery .
- Design and implement serverless, event-driven applications using AWS and modern cloud technologies.
- Participate in peer code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices, coding standards, and system reliability.
- Analyze code, requirements, system risks, and performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Design, Operations, and other engineering teams to define requirements, prioritize initiatives, and deliver new capabilities.
- Build LLM-powered features that address complex logistics problems, automate manual processes, and create new efficiencies across the network.
- Explore and implement AI-assisted engineering practices , including intelligent automation and machine learning capabilities within CI/CD and software delivery workflows.
- Work closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to understand problems and develop creative, scalable solutions.

What You Bring





- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience building, testing, and deploying applications in high-traffic production environments.
- 7+ years of experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, and React .
- Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals, including:
- Data structures and algorithms
- Test-driven development
- Distributed and serverless systems
- API design and integration
- Software reliability and scalability
- Hands-on experience with AWS or other cloud platforms .
- Experience building and operating applications using serverless and event-driven architectures .
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-changing environment.
- A proactive, self-driven mindset with a passion for taking ownership and shipping high-quality software.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working closely with Product, Design, and Operations teams.
- A strong interest in the rapidly evolving AI/ML landscape , with practical experience using technologies such as:
- LLMs
- Prompt engineering
- AI-powered developer tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, or GitHub Copilot
- Intelligent automation

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain, or network orchestration systems .
- Experience working in a remote-first environment .
- Proficiency with AWS, GCP, or similar cloud platforms.
- Solid end-to-end development experience with React and Node.js .
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
