This team is responsible for developing a scalable and secure platform for Gartner Peer Platform sites. The team works on advanced tools and techniques for high-performance web development, data processing, and system integration.
Responsibilities
- Build and deliver products & applications integrating with various databases, AWS Services and REST APIs.
- Work with Open-source technologies and applications using NodeJS and ReactJS in a fast-paced Agile/Scrum environment.
- Follow coding standards, build appropriate unit tests, and integration tests
- Translate designs and style guides provided by the Design team into functional user interfaces, ensuring cross browser compatibility and performance.
- Participates in the technical design process, expected to contribute own ideas for changes/current features; Capable of owning independent complex features all the way through from technical design to launch.
- Conducts system analysis, working closely with a Lead engineer, to improve operations.
Requirements
Must have:
- Bachelors or masters degree in computer science or related engineering field with experience in software development.
- 4-6 years of experience developing customers facing products or web applications.
- Expertise in ReactJS, NodeJS,and Typescript is a must.
- Expert skills in CSS, HTML, and Design libraries.
- Experience working with consumption of Restful APIs
- Strong experience with unit testing and end-to-end testing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
- Good understanding of security best practices.
- Experience with Next.js and server-side rendering patterns.
Nice to have:
- Experience in AWS or any other cloud technologies
- Experience in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices
- Experience in distributed systems, high-traffic services, or data-intensive platforms.
