About the role

We're looking for a Senior SEO Manager to take complete ownership of our SEO delivery — the strategy, the results, and the team that produces them. This is a leadership role for someone who has spent years mastering SEO in every form and now leads from the front: setting direction, managing a large team of specialists, owning client outcomes, and being the final word on quality.

You'll oversee the SEO for our full client portfolio — including a current focus on ranking competitive gaming websites — direct two delivery pods, and be accountable for the rankings, traffic, and growth we deliver. We need someone who can run the entire engine independently, not someone who needs direction to operate.

What you'll own

Strategy & delivery

- Define and drive the overall SEO strategy across all client websites
- Own the end-to-end delivery of rankings, organic traffic, and lead outcomes
- Set the roadmap for on-page, technical, off-page, and content across the portfolio
- Lead SEO for high-competition verticals, including competitive gaming websites
- Be the final quality gate — audit, review, and sign off on the team's work

Team leadership

- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of [15–20] SEO specialists and [2] team leads across two pods
- Allocate websites, set targets, and hold the team accountable to KRAs
- Run daily/weekly cadences, review performance,



and coach for growth
- Handle capacity planning, workload distribution, and continuity when the team changes
- Build SOPs, playbooks, and processes that keep quality consistent at scale

Client & reporting

- Own the client relationship at a senior level — updates, strategy reviews, escalations
- Present performance through clear weekly and monthly reporting
- Translate SEO results into business outcomes the client understands

What we're looking for

- 7+ years of hands-on SEO experience, with a strong record of managing teams and delivering results
- Complete, expert-level command of SEO — on-page, technical, off-page, content, local, and international
- Proven ability to lead and scale a team (10+ people) and own delivery for multiple clients
- Track record of ranking competitive websites and driving measurable organic growth (gaming/betting/high-difficulty niches a strong plus)
- Deep command of tools — GSC, GA4, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, rank trackers, and reporting/dashboarding
- Robust grasp of Google algorithm updates, E-E-A-T, and white-hat strategy at scale
- Excellent leadership, communication, and client-facing skills
- Analytical, process-driven, and fully accountable for outcomes
