? We’re Hiring: Senior Robotics Engineer – Legged Robotics

We’re looking for an experienced Robotics Engineer to develop advanced locomotion capabilities for legged robotic platforms used in industrial inspection and applied robotics research.
What you’ll do
? Design and tune locomotion controllers using MPC, whole-body control, ZMP/DCM and reinforcement learning
? Develop rigid-body dynamics, contact models, gait transitions and state-estimation pipelines
? Build hybrid architectures combining model-based control with learning-based policies
? Take controllers from simulation to reliable deployment on physical robots
? Lead hardware bring-up, actuator characterisation, calibration, safety limits and real-time control
? Integrate ROS 2, real-time Linux, EtherCAT, CAN/CAN-FD and embedded firmware interfaces
? Conduct structured field trials on stairs, slopes, grating, loose surfaces and industrial terrain
What we’re looking for
✅ MTech/ME with 5+ years of relevant industry or applied research experience, or a PhD in Robotics or a closely related field
✅ Proven hands-on experience with quadrupeds, bipeds, humanoids or exoskeletons
✅ Strong knowledge of rigid-body dynamics, floating-base kinematics,
optimal control and constrained optimisation
✅ Experience with both model-based control and RL locomotion pipelines
✅ Production-grade C++ and Python with real-time-safe coding practices
✅ ROS/ROS 2 and serious experience with simulators such as Isaac Sim, MuJoCo, Gazebo or RaiSim
✅ Demonstrated success in transferring controllers from simulation to real-world hardware
Bonus points: Tier-1 publications, autonomous navigation, industrial safety standards, STM32/TI C2000 firmware, FOC motor control, custom actuator systems, patents, open-source contributions or previous field deployment of a legged robot.
