We're looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Playwright and a passion for leveraging AI to build smarter, faster, and more resilient test automation frameworks. You'll play a key role in designing scalable automation solutions and driving quality across our product suite.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks using Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript or Python)
- Integrate AI/ML-based tools or techniques to improve test coverage, self-healing tests, or intelligent test case generation
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to define test strategies for web applications
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated test execution (Jenkins/GitHub Actions/GitLab CI)
- Perform API testing and integrate it into the automation suite
- Conduct root cause analysis of test failures and drive continuous improvement in test reliability
- Mentor junior QA engineers and promote automation best practices across teams
- Stay updated with emerging AI-powered testing tools (e.g., self-healing locators, visual AI testing, LLM-based test generation)
Required Skills
- 8+ years of experience in Software QA/Test Automation
- Solid hands-on experience with Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript or Python)
- Solid programming skills in JavaScript or Python
- Experience integrating AI-based tools/approaches into testing workflows
- Good understanding of API testing (REST/GraphQL) using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.)
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and Agile practices
- Experience with version control systems (Git)
- Excellent analytical, debugging, and communication skills.
