We are seeking a

Senior QA Engineer to lead the design, development, and execution of testing solutions that ensure the quality, reliability, and scalability of our software products. This role requires expertise in testing the underlying platform and technologies, a proactive quality mindset, and the ability to collaborate closely with engineering and product teams in an Agile workplace.

Required Skills

- 7+ years of experience in software quality assurance, platform validation, and testing across complex infrastructure and application environments.

- 4+ years of hands-on experience in test automation, serving in lead and technical leadership roles.

- 4+ years of hands-on experience in reviewing requirements and project documentation to understand the application and perform automation feasibility analysis.

- 4+ years of hands-on experience designing, developing, executing, maintaining, and analyzing automated test scripts.

- 4+ years of hands-on experience executing automation scripts, preparing executions reports and defect logs analyze test failures, log defects, and collaborate with developers to drive them to resolution.

- 4+ years in Technologies such as Core Java, SQL, Selenium and Cucumber to write test scripts.

- 4+ years of Data/File/Database and ETL/Data warehouse testing and proficient in testing all conversions – File to file, file to Database, database to file etc.

- Experience debugging and troubleshooting automated testcases.

- Strong command over SQL. Ability to write complex queries across different systems – preferred Oracle

- Strong experience (3+ years) in parsing & generating data/files, bank standards, XML/json payloads and XPath





- Hands on with Eclipse or NetBeans Project Management; Version Management, API Testing, Litmus, Jenkins, Selenium, Cucumber, Version control like bitbucket

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting, debugging/triaging skills.

- Comfortable working with Linux & Windows operating systems including shell scripting

Key Responsibilities

- Certify applications built on modern tech stacks like Java, spring boot, Tomcat, Kafka, openshift/EKS, oracle, cockroach.

- Validate platform changes, ensuring compliance with change control, incident, and problem management processes.

- Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases to validate platform architecture and design.

- Lead API testing, including functional, integration, and regression testing for platform components and integrations.

- Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and infrastructure standards during validation.

- Support continuous integration and deployment by automating test scenarios and verifying automated test suite execution as part of CI/CD process.

- Ensure optimal test coverage by collaborating with platform engineers to understand implemented changes that need to be tested.

- Proficient in testing applications developed on On-prem, Cloud, and Hybrid architectures.

- Identify opportunities for improving test processes and tools to enhance validation efficiency.

- Serve as a key resource for coordinating dependencies across platform teams and ensuring consistent quality across initiatives.

- Report test results, risks, and quality metrics to stakeholders and recommend improvements for platform reliability and scalability.

- Self-driven and able to demonstrate strong understanding of products, services, business flows, and financial context to validate platform changes effectively.
