Experience

12+ years (Majority of experience to be in residential & Commercial Building Projects)

Salary

₹60,000 – ₹80,000 per month

Chennai - Office + Site

9:30 AM – 6:30 PM / As required

1. Required Skills & Competencies

· Strong knowledge of quantity estimation and measurement, including BBS.

· Proficiency in rate analysis for tendering.

· Positive understanding of current material and labour market rates.





· Ability to independently source and validate market information relevant to tenders.

· Strong reconciliation skills to verify and substantiate client claims.

· Good communication skills to explain rates, quantities and billing details clearly.

· Ability to manage multiple project billing requirements with accuracy and timelines.

2. Software Skills

· AutoCAD

· MS Office

· MS Project – for preparing basic tender schedules

3. Preferred Industry Background

· Contracting companies operating on a BOQ-based model & Project Management Consultancy (PMC) companies.

4. Companies / Backgrounds to Avoid

· Property Development Companies.

· Infrastructure Companies.

5. Interview Process:

· HR interview

· Technical test - To cover quantity take-off, rate analysis, reconciliation and identification of errors in work done / BBS.

- · Final interview with MD

Note - · Majority of experience in residential / commercial building projects .

· Candidates with only Infrastructure/Industrial project experience will not be considered .

· Resume must include complete project details (project type, name, size, role, etc.).

· Stable employment history with no frequent job changes.
