About the Role

Construction productivity has lagged behind the rest of the labour industry for decades, but this is all about to change as the industry starts adopting technology and adapting to the digital world. We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help one of our amazing and versatile teams build backend systems that power construction workflows at scale.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop high performance backend services and REST APIs using Python with Django, Flask, or FastAPI
- Build and operate microservices with a focus on scale, reliability, and fault tolerance




- Work with AWS services including RDS, Aurora, Lambda, EC2, SQS, SNS, and ELB/ALB to deliver and maintain cloud infrastructure
- Contribute to system design and architectural decisions across the team
- Leverage AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot as an active part of your development workflow

Qualifications

- BS in Computer Science or a related technical field
- 5+ years of experience in backend development
- Strong understanding of software design and architectural patterns
- Committed to quality including security and performance
