About the Role

Saluja Contracts is looking for a proactive Senior Purchase Executive (construction) to manage day-to-day procurement activities and ensure the timely availability of materials, products, and services required for construction operations.

The ideal candidate should have robust vendor coordination, negotiation, purchase planning, and documentation skills, along with a good understanding of procurement processes and commercial terms.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and evaluate suppliers based on quality, price, delivery timelines, and reliability.
- Obtain and compare quotations from multiple vendors to ensure competitive pricing.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and other commercial conditions with suppliers.
- Prepare and process purchase orders (POs) accurately and within agreed timelines.
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Track purchase orders, pending deliveries, and material requirements.
- Maintain proper records of quotations, purchase orders, invoices, vendor details, and procurement documentation.




- Coordinate with accounts and other internal departments for invoice processing and payment-related matters.
- Monitor market prices and identify cost-saving and alternate sourcing opportunities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential suppliers.
- Resolve issues related to quality, quantity, delivery, pricing, and documentation in coordination with vendors and internal teams.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, approved budgets, and required quality standards.
- Prepare regular purchase reports and provide updates on procurement status to management.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Understanding of construction material.
- Ability to manage multiple requirements and meet deadlines.
- Understanding of GST, invoices, purchase orders, and basic commercial documentation is preferred.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
