Role Description The Senior Psychologist will provide advanced psychological assessment, diagnosis, and intervention for individuals experiencing a range of mental health concerns. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting detailed clinical interviews, administering and interpreting psychological tests, and developing individualized treatment plans. The role involves offering evidence-based counseling and psychotherapy, coordinating care with psychiatrists and social workers, and participating in case discussions and multidisciplinary team meetings.

The Senior

Psychologist will also contribute to clinical documentation, quality improvement initiatives,



and may supervise or mentor junior clinicians or trainees. This is a full time, on-site role based in Ernakulam, requiring regular presence at the Metro Mind facility to ensure team-oriented and integrated patient care.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Psychology and Mental Health, with the ability to apply theoretical knowledge to complex clinical cases.
- Proficiency in Counseling, including individual and group therapy, using evidence-based approaches.
- Competence in Psychological Assessment, including administration, scoring, and interpretation of standardized tools.
- Relevant background or familiarity with Medicine as it relates to mental health, enabling effective collaboration with medical professionals.
- Master’s or doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
- Valid professional registration or licensure as required by local regulations.
- Experience working in multidisciplinary mental health settings; prior senior-level or supervisory experience is an advantage.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and case formulation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and respectfully with diverse teams and clients.
- Commitment to ethical practice, ongoing professional development, and culturally sensitive care.
