Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior NetSuite Developer with strong hands-on expertise in SuiteScript 2.x, NetSuite customization, integrations, reporting, and ERP business processes . The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and supporting scalable NetSuite solutions while collaborating closely with functional teams and business stakeholders.

The role requires a strong understanding of Finance, Order Management, Supply Chain, and CRM processes , along with the ability to independently troubleshoot complex technical issues and deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, customize, and deploy NetSuite solutions using SuiteScript 2.x/2.1, SuiteFlow, and SuiteBuilder .
- Develop and maintain complex User Event, Client, Scheduled, and Map/Reduce scripts .
- Build and manage integrations between NetSuite and external applications using REST APIs, SOAP, RESTlets, SuiteTalk, and third-party APIs .
- Customize and enhance NetSuite modules, including Financials, CRM, Order Management, and Supply Chain .
- Develop and optimize Saved Searches, Reports, Dashboards, KPIs, and SuiteAnalytics solutions.
- Work closely with functional teams and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application, integration, scripting, and performance-related issues.
- Ensure data integrity, system reliability, and optimal application performance.
- Support NetSuite upgrades, testing cycles,



deployments, and release management activities .
- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for customizations, integrations, workflows, and configurations.
- Analyze large datasets and implement performance optimization strategies where required.

Mandatory Technical Skills
- SuiteScript 2.x / 2.1 – Mandatory
- Strong hands-on experience with User Event, Client, Scheduled, and Map/Reduce Scripts
- SuiteBuilder and SuiteFlow
- NetSuite custom records, custom forms, workflows, and configurations
- SuiteTalk and RESTlets
- REST/SOAP APIs and third-party integrations
- Strong understanding of the NetSuite data model and record types
- Saved Searches, SuiteAnalytics, Reports, Dashboards, and KPIs
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills
- Understanding of Finance, GL, AP, AR, Order Management, and Supply Chain processes

- Solid understanding of ERP business processes, particularly:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)

- Ability to work effectively with functional and business teams to convert business requirements into technical solutions.

Required Qualifications
- 8 years of overall IT experience ,



with at least 4+ years of hands-on NetSuite development experience .
- Strong proficiency in SuiteScript 2.x , with the ability to develop complex custom solutions.
- Proven experience in NetSuite customization and integration development .
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
- Excellent stakeholder communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to independently analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues.

Good to Have
- NetSuite certifications such as SuiteFoundation or NetSuite Developer Certification .
- Experience with data migration and ETL tools .
- Exposure to advanced SuiteAnalytics and reporting solutions .
- Experience working on Finance or eCommerce domain implementations .

Must-Have Competencies for Shortlisting Candidates should demonstrate strong practical expertise in:
1. SuiteScript 2.x: Ability to independently develop and debug complex scripts, including User Event, Client, Scheduled, and Map/Reduce scripts.
2. NetSuite Customization: Hands-on experience with SuiteBuilder, SuiteFlow, custom records, forms, and workflows.
3. Integrations: Proven experience with RESTlets, SuiteTalk, REST/SOAP APIs, and third-party integrations.
4. ERP Functional Knowledge: Strong understanding of Finance, GL, AP, AR, Order Management, and Supply Chain workflows.
5. Data & Reporting: Expertise in Saved Searches, SuiteAnalytics, reporting, and performance optimization for large datasets.
6. Problem Solving & Stakeholder Management: Ability to independently troubleshoot complex issues and communicate effectively with business and technical stakeholders.
