Technology Cue is looking for a Senior Microsoft Fabric & BI Solution Architect who can combine solution architecture, presales, client engagement, technical leadership and hands-on delivery.

This is not a purely managerial or architecture-only role. The successful candidate should be comfortable working directly with clients, designing end-to-end solutions, supporting proposals and estimates, guiding junior developers, and remaining hands-on across Microsoft Fabric, Data Engineering, Data Modelling and Power BI.

Key responsibilities include

- Lead client discovery workshops and understand business and technical requirements.
- Design end-to-end Data & Analytics solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Power BI and Azure technologies.
- Support presales activities including solution shaping, technical presentations, estimations, proposals and Statements of Work.
- Help build client confidence during the sales process and contribute to winning new engagements.
- Design Fabric architectures including Lakehouse, Warehouse, OneLake, Pipelines, Notebooks and Medallion architecture.
- Lead Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, Data Modelling and Power BI solution design.
- Remain hands-on with SQL, ETL/ELT, Power BI, DAX, Power Query and Fabric development when required.
- Guide and mentor junior and mid-level developers and conduct technical/design reviews.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide architecture and delivery guidance.
- Develop reusable frameworks, accelerators, templates and best practices.
- Liaise directly with Australian and international clients.

Preferred candidate profile




- 10+ years of experience in Data, BI, Analytics or related technologies.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and Power BI.
- Strong SQL, Data Engineering and Data Modelling experience.
- Strong knowledge of Data Warehousing, Star Schema and Semantic Models.
- Experience with DAX, Power Query, ETL/ELT and data pipelines.
- Good understanding of Lakehouse, Warehouse, OneLake and Medallion architecture.
- Experience in solution architecture, estimation and technical design.
- Previous experience in client-facing consulting or presales roles.
- Solid communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to independently conduct client workshops and solution discussions.
- Experience leading and mentoring technical teams.
- Python / PySpark / Azure Data Factory experience is highly desirable.
- Experience working with Australian, UK or US clients will be preferred.
- Microsoft certifications in Fabric, Power BI or Azure Data would be advantageous.
