Role Description The Senior Merchandiser at Pepage is a full-time, in office role based in Madhyamgram. This role involves managing the end-to-end merchandising process, including planning product assortments, coordinating with production teams, and ensuring timely availability of school uniforms and accessories.

The Senior

Merchandiser monitors sales trends, analyzes inventory levels, and recommends pricing or promotional strategies to optimize product performance. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining close communication with school clients, overseeing order accuracy, supervising visual and online presentation of products,



and collaborating with sales and marketing teams to support business growth. The role also requires maintaining quality standards, resolving customer issues related to merchandise, and preparing regular reports for management.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to effectively liaise with schools, internal teams, and suppliers.
- Candidates should possess Sales and Retail experience to manage merchandise performance, drive orders, and support revenue targets.
- Candidates should possess Marketing knowledge to collaborate on promotions, product positioning, and brand consistency for school uniform offerings.
- Relevant experience in merchandising, apparel, uniforms, or textile industry, with a focus on product planning and inventory management.
- Ability to analyze sales data, forecast demand, and make data-driven decisions on assortments and stock levels.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and capability to manage multiple client orders and timelines.
- Proficiency with basic office software and inventory or order management tools.
- Preferred qualifications include a diploma or degree in Merchandising, Fashion, Business, or a related field, and prior experience in a similar senior merchandising role.
