Job Title: Sr. Mechanical Design Engineer

Location: Dwarkadham Bhopal M.P. (462038)

Duration: 1 Months Contract (it can extend)

We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer with strong expertise in SolidWorks, Injection Molding, and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) to develop high-quality, production-ready mechanical components and assemblies for our products.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop mechanical parts, assemblies, and enclosures using SolidWorks.
- Create detailed 3D models, 2D drawings, GD&T;, and manufacturing documentation.
- Apply DFM/DFA principles to ensure designs are reliable, cost-effective, and production-ready.
- Design components specifically for injection molding, considering draft angles, wall thickness, ribs, bosses, snap-fits, parting lines, and tooling constraints.
- Work closely with manufacturers and vendors during prototyping, tooling, and mass production.
- Review prototypes and production samples, identify design/manufacturing issues, and drive improvements.
- Collaborate with electronics, product design,



and engineering teams to ensure proper mechanical-electrical integration.

Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with SolidWorks.
- Proven experience designing injection-molded plastic parts and enclosures.
- Solid understanding of DFM/DFA and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with GD&T;, tolerance stack-ups, material selection, and mechanical engineering fundamentals.
- Ability to take a design from concept → prototype → tooling → mass production.
- Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.

Preferred
- Experience in consumer electronics / hardware product development.
- Experience working directly with Chinese/overseas manufacturers and injection molding vendors.
- Experience with rapid prototyping, 3D printing, and tooling development.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

Experience

- SolidWorks: 4 years (Preferred)
- Plastics injection moulding: 3 years (Preferred)
- GD&T;: 2 years (Preferred)
