Job Title Sr. Manager – MEP & Utilities Reporting To DGM Location Gangaikondan Grade/ Level Job Objective The Senior Manager – MEP & Utilities is responsible for planning, execution, operation, and maintenance of all Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP) systems and utility services within the facility. The role ensures optimal performance, compliance with regulatory standards, cost efficiency, and reliability of all utility operations supporting production and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities Responsibilities KPIs 1) MEP Systems Management

- Oversee design, installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems.
- Ensure smooth operation and maintenance of HVAC, electrical distribution, water supply, drainage, and fire protection systems.
- Review and approve engineering drawings, layouts, and specifications.

2) Utility Operations Management

- Manage all plant utilities including:
- Power (HT/LT systems, transformers, DG sets)
- Compressed air systems




- Boilers / steam systems
- Chilled water and cooling systems

3) Project Execution

- Track project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Ensure quality assurance and timely delivery of projects

4) Maintenance & Reliability

- Develop preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
- Implement CMMS and monitor KPIs such as MTBF, MTTR, and downtime.

SECTION VI: ROLE PROFILE REQUIREMENTS Education Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred). Experience 12–18 years in MEP & utility management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role Competencies CORE COMPETENCIES LEADERSHIP/ BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES

- Robust knowledge of MEP systems and industrial utilities
- Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (IS, IEC, NFPA, ASHRAE, etc.)
