Role Description The Senior Manager / Manager P&M; (Plant & Machinery) will oversee planning, deployment, operation, and maintenance of construction equipment and machinery to support large infrastructure projects. This full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad involves coordinating equipment allocation to project sites, monitoring utilization and performance, and ensuring adherence to safety and compliance standards. The role includes supervising maintenance schedules, managing repair activities, and optimizing equipment life cycles to control costs and minimize downtime.

The individual will collaborate closely with project, procurement, and finance teams for budgeting, vendor management,



and reporting on plant and machinery metrics.

The Senior

Manager / Manager P&M; will also lead a team, implement process improvements, and contribute to strategic decisions regarding fleet expansion and technology adoption.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in plant & machinery management, including planning, deployment, and life-cycle management of construction equipment.
- Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and coordinating with internal teams and external service providers.
- Proficiency in equipment utilization analysis, cost control, budgeting, and reporting using relevant tools and software.
- Knowledge of safety standards, regulatory compliance, and best practices related to heavy machinery and construction sites.
- Demonstrated leadership skills in managing teams, driving performance, and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Background in infrastructure, highways, or related construction sectors; familiarity with EPC and HAM project environments is an advantage.
- Relevant academic qualifications such as a degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders and multiple project locations.
- Comfort with on-site, field-oriented responsibilities in Ahmedabad and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
