Scope

Lead finance control, statutory and tax compliance, corporate governance, legal-compliance coordination, IT and ERP governance, cost discipline and management reporting, HR, Administration, Legal and IT support activities report to this role. The role provides reliable financial information, systems governance and compliance oversight to support business and factory decisions.

Key Responsibilities

A. Financial control and accounting governance

- Lead financial accounting, book finalisation, month-end and year-end closure.
- Ensure accuracy of bank reconciliations, ledgers, provisions, payables, receivables and financial reports.
- Maintain internal financial controls, approval workflows, segregation of duties and audit-ready records.
- Provide financial analysis for business, plant and working-capital decisions.

B. Tax, audit and statutory compliance

- Coordinate statutory audit, Income Tax, GST, Transfer Pricing and other applicable tax matters.
- Manage filing calendars, audit documentation, consultant coordination and responses to notices or scrutiny.
- Act as the primary finance contact for auditors, consultants, management and relevant authorities.
- Monitor actions to reduce audit observations, penalties and compliance exposure.

C. Corporate governance and legal compliance

- Coordinate ROC, MSME and other applicable corporate statutory obligations.
- Maintain the legal and statutory compliance calendar and evidence register.
- Coordinate with external legal advisers on corporate changes, contracts,



notices and governance matters.

• Monitor Demat processes, statutory documentation, renewals and closure of compliance actions. D. Financial planning, cost control and decision support

- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow planning and budget-versus-actual review.
- Monitor divisional, plant and operating expenses and recommend corrective action.
- Establish expense approval and financial-control processes.
- Support procurement and supplier decisions through financial evaluation and commercial analysis.
- Support manufacturing operations with cost, margin, working-capital and investment analysis; do not own plant operations.

E. Global and management reporting

- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly and annual reports for India, Asia and Global stakeholders.
- Develop management packs, dashboards and financial presentations.
- Provide transparent analysis of performance, risks, deviations and actions.

Educational Qualification

- Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant, MBA Finance or equivalent finance qualification preferred.
- Strong experience in financial control, taxation, statutory audit, corporate compliance and management reporting in India.
- Experience coordinating global or regional stakeholders and external consultants.
- Working knowledge of ERP finance modules, internal controls, GST, Income Tax, ROC and audit requirements.
- Manufacturing, industrial or multinational-company experience preferred.
