Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager / Senior Maintenance Engineer – PLC & Automation to lead maintenance activities in an automated manufacturing/assembly plant. The role will be responsible for ensuring maximum equipment uptime through preventive and breakdown maintenance, PLC troubleshooting, automation support, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage shift maintenance manpower, schedules, work allocation, and technician activities.
- Plan and execute Preventive Maintenance (PM) and breakdown maintenance with minimum downtime.
- Troubleshoot and modify PLC-controlled machines, SPMs, assembly stations, and electrical control panels.




- Hands-on experience with Allen Bradley PLCs (L16-BB, L18-ER, L24-ER) and Siemens S7-300/1200/1500, including Studio 5000, RS-Linx and TIA Portal.
- Maintain and troubleshoot laser cutting/welding, laser marking, leak testing, torquing, vision inspection and EOL testing systems.
- Experience with Keyence Vision, SIC Marking, ATEQ Leak Testers and Zebra Printers will be an advantage.
- Handle compressors, DG sets and other plant utilities.
- Conduct RCA, Why-Why analysis, CAPA, Kaizen and downtime reduction initiatives.
- Maintain breakdown records, PM plans, equipment history and technical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with safety, 5S and machine-guarding requirements.
- Coordinate with vendors and manage critical maintenance spares and inventory.
