Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Node.js and React.js to design, develop and maintain scalable, secure and high-performance enterprise applications.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience across both frontend and backend development, with a proven ability to design REST APIs, develop responsive React applications, work with relational databases, implement automated testing and contribute to CI/CD and cloud-based deployments.

The candidate will work closely with Product Managers, Architects, UI/UX Designers, QA Engineers, DevOps Engineers and other development teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities Full Stack Development

- Design, develop and maintain enterprise-grade web applications using:
- Node.js
- React.js
- TypeScript / JavaScript

- Develop scalable and maintainable frontend and backend components.
- Participate in the complete software development lifecycle from requirements analysis through production deployment.
- Translate business requirements into technical designs and high-quality implementations.
- Perform code reviews and enforce development standards and best practices.

Backend Development - Node.js
- Design and develop scalable backend services using Node.js.
- Strong experience with frameworks such as:
- NestJS
- Express.js

- Develop secure and scalable RESTful APIs.
- Implement authentication and authorisation mechanisms.
- Design appropriate service and API layers.
- Implement:

- Error handling
- Logging
- Validation
- Exception handling
- API security

- Develop asynchronous and event-driven backend services.
- Integrate backend services with databases, third-party APIs and enterprise systems.
- Optimise backend services for performance and scalability.

Frontend Development - React.js
- Develop responsive and reusable user interfaces using React.js.
- Build reusable React components and frontend libraries.
- Implement state management using appropriate frameworks/libraries such as:
- Redux / Redux Toolkit
- Context API

- Integrate React applications with REST APIs.
- Implement client-side routing, form validation and error handling.
- Optimise frontend performance and page load times.
- Ensure responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
- Work closely with UI/UX teams to implement designs accurately.
- Follow accessibility and frontend development best practices.

TypeScript / JavaScript
- Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript ES6+ and TypeScript.
- Apply contemporary JavaScript/TypeScript development practices.
- Implement strongly typed interfaces and reusable modules.
- Understand asynchronous programming, Promises, async/await and event-driven programming.
- Apply clean-code and SOLID principles.

API & Microservices
- Design and develop RESTful APIs.
- Define API contracts and integration standards.
- Implement API versioning and backward compatibility.
- Develop microservices where appropriate.
- Implement service-to-service communication.
- Handle API authentication, authorisation, validation and error management.
- Implement API documentation using Swagger / OpenAPI.

Caching & Messaging
- Experience with caching technologies such as Redis.

- Design asynchronous processing and event-driven workflows.

Testing & Quality
- Develop unit, integration and API tests.

Production Support
- Provide L2/L3 production support for applications.
- Troubleshoot application and API issues.
- Perform root-cause analysis and implement permanent fixes.
- Monitor application health and performance.
- Participate in incident management and production deployments.
- Maintain technical documentation and operational runbooks.

Required Technical Skills Must Have
- 6+ years of software development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Node.js and React.js.
