Role & responsibilities

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with OEM customers, ensuring effective communication with Purchase, R&D;, Production, and other key stakeholders.

- Manage customer accounts by understanding current and future business requirements, production plans, and identifying opportunities to increase business.

- Drive business growth by enhancing Share of Business (SOB) through new product opportunities, volume expansion, and customer engagement.

- Coordinate with customers and internal teams for new product development (NPD), order execution, production planning, and dispatch schedules.

- Prepare demand forecasts, monitor customer requirements, and support business planning activities.

- Lead commercial discussions, including price negotiations for existing and new business opportunities.

- Ensure timely communication of production schedules, order status, dispatch updates, and delivery commitments to customers.

- Collaborate with manufacturing, planning, and logistics teams to ensure plant readiness and on-time deliveries.

- Monitor dispatch performance, premium freight usage,



and implement actions to improve forecasting accuracy and reduce logistics costs.

- Build long-term customer relationships while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and business continuity.

Preferred candidate profile

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.E./B.Tech Mechanical).

- MBA in Marketing will be an added advantage.

- 2-4 years of experience in Key Account Management, Customer Relationship Management, Sales, or Business Development within the automotive or auto-component industry.

- Must have experience in handling OEM customers.

- Experience in managing Ashok Leyland (AL) as a customer will be highly preferred.

- Strong customer relationship management, negotiation, communication, and coordination skills.

- Valuable understanding of automotive manufacturing processes, production planning, and commercial discussions.

- Proficiency in Tamil and English is mandatory.

- Willing to work from Hosur and travel as required to customer locations.
