Job Title: Senior Executive / Assistant Manager– Sales & Marketing

Department : Sales & Marketing

Reports To: Deputy Manager / Manager – Sales & Marketing

Job Purpose To support business growth by identifying new business opportunities, managing customer enquiries, preparing techno-commercial quotations, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring timely execution of sales activities while maintaining customer satisfaction and compliance with company processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Generate new business leads and support achievement of sales targets.
- Identify and develop new customers while strengthening relationships with existing customers.
- Handle customer enquiries, RFQs, and prepare techno-commercial quotations.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Production, Planning, Quality, Procurement, and Finance for timely submission of quotations and execution of customer orders.
- Follow up with customers on quotations, order status, deliveries, and payment collections.
- Maintain accurate customer information, sales records, and related documentation.
- Prepare periodic MIS reports and sales-related documentation.




- Support customer visits, exhibitions, business meetings, and promotional activities.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S, Kaizen, and compliance with company policies, quality standards, and statutory requirements.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- MBA (Marketing) is desirable but not mandatory.

Experience

- 3–6 years of experience in Sales, Marketing, or Business Development in a manufacturing industry.
- Experience in Automotive, Engineering, Composites, Aerospace, Railways, or Industrial products will be an added advantage.

Skills Required

- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Techno-commercial aptitude with the ability to understand engineering drawings and prepare quotations.
- Robust analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Customer relationship management and business development skills.
- Preferred: Familiarity with ERP/CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
