- Develop, validate, and optimize manufacturing processes in line with customer requirements and quality standards.
- Manage APQP activities and process validation throughout the product development and manufacturing lifecycle.
- Provide technical support for tooling selection, tooling development, and tooling-related activities to ensure efficient and reliable manufacturing processes.
- Develop and review PSS (Process Setup Sheet) and fixture designs based on manufacturing requirements.
- Prepare and maintain manufacturing process plans, work instructions, and supporting process documentation.
- Develop and review 3D tooling and fixture models using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Lead and coordinate First Article Inspection (FAI) and Product Part Approval activities to ensure product and process readiness.
- Collaborate with Design, Production, Quality, and Engineering teams to resolve process-related issues and implement improvements.
- Support new product introduction (NPI) activities, ensuring manufacturing processes, tooling, fixtures, and documentation are completed as per project requirements.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, productivity enhancement, and manufacturing efficiency.
- Maintain accurate process documentation and ensure compliance with applicable quality and manufacturing standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Solid knowledge of Process Engineering and Manufacturing Process Planning.
- Hands-on experience in APQP and Process Validation.
- Good knowledge of Tooling Selection, Tool Development, and Tooling Support.
- Knowledge of PSS (Process Setup Sheet) and Fixture Design.
- Good understanding of 3D CAD modeling for tooling and fixtures.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of FAI (First Article Inspection) and Product Part Approval processes.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, engineering drawings, and technical documentation.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and team leadership skills.
- Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel.
