Role Description The Senior .NET Developer with SQL Server role at Prologic First is a full time, on-site position based in Kolkata. The individual in this role will design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using .NET technologies, focusing on performance, scalability, and security. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean, reusable code, troubleshooting and optimizing existing modules, integrating databases using SQL Server, and collaborating with product and QA teams to refine requirements and ensure high-quality releases.

The role also involves participating in code reviews, contributing to architectural decisions,



documenting technical solutions, and mentoring junior developers to uphold best practices and coding standards.

Qualifications

- Strong programming foundation with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and general Software Development skills.
- Proficiency in .NET Core and core Programming concepts for building robust server-side applications.
- Hands-on experience with ASP.NET MVC and related web application frameworks.
- Solid experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including database design, queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
- Experience in designing and maintaining scalable, secure, and maintainable application architectures.
- Ability to analyze requirements, estimate effort, and deliver features within agreed timelines.
- Comfort working in collaborative, cross-functional teams and communicating clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in hospitality or enterprise software domains is an advantage.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and standard software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
