Role Description The Senior Debt Collection Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Bengaluru Area. This role involves managing and executing collection activities for assigned portfolios, including contacting customers via phone, email, and other approved channels to recover outstanding dues in line with company policies and regulatory guidelines.

The individual will assess customer payment capabilities, negotiate repayment plans, and ensure accurate documentation of interactions and agreements in the system. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring overdue accounts, analyzing payment patterns, coordinating with internal teams such as finance and operations,



and preparing regular reports on collection status and performance metrics.

Executive is also expected to mentor junior team members, contribute to process improvements, and uphold professional, ethical, and respectful communication with all customers.

Qualifications

- Strong credit control and debt collection skills, with experience managing overdue accounts and negotiating repayment solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication, active listening, and professional customer interaction.
- Analytical skills to interpret account data, identify risks, and recommend effective collection strategies.
- Foundational understanding of finance principles relevant to billing, receivables, and collection processes.
- Prior experience in collections, BPO, or contact center environments, preferably in a senior or lead role.
- Ability to work on-site in the Greater Bengaluru Area, manage high-volume workloads, and meet performance targets and timelines.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM or collection software; familiarity with compliance and regulatory standards related to collections.
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, commerce, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
