We are looking for a Senior Consultant with strong hands-on MuleSoft experience to design and build integrations that connect our clients' core systems. You will own delivery for one or more workstreams — from discovery and API design through to build, testing, and production support — and work directly with client architects and business stakeholders.

The role sits at the centre of a fast-changing stack. Following Salesforce's acquisition of Informatica, integration work increasingly spans three layers: MuleSoft for real-time connectivity and enterprise control, Informatica for trusted and governed data, and Data 360 (formerly Data Cloud) for activation into Sales, Service, Marketing, Commerce, and Agentforce. We want someone who can work across that whole picture rather than only inside Anypoint Studio.

This is a delivery role with client exposure. You should be comfortable writing production-grade Mule code, reviewing others' work, and explaining design trade-offs to a non-technical audience.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and develop APIs and integrations on MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (Mule 4) using API-led connectivity — System, Process, and Experience layers.

•Author API specifications in RAML/OAS, publish to Anypoint Exchange, and drive design reviews with client stakeholders.

•Build transformations in DataWeave 2.0, including complex mappings across JSON, XML, CSV, and flat-file formats.

•Implement integrations using standard and custom connectors — Salesforce, SAP, Workday, Database, HTTP/HTTPS, JMS, Kafka, SFTP, and REST/SOAP services.

•Apply robust error handling, retry and reconnection strategies, idempotency patterns, and batch/streaming processing for high-volume workloads.

•Configure and manage API policies in API Manager: OAuth 2.0, JWT validation, client ID enforcement, rate limiting, and IP allowlisting.

•Deploy and operate applications on CloudHub / CloudHub 2.0 / Runtime Fabric, and manage environments through Runtime Manager.

•Write MUnit tests to meet coverage standards and support CI/CD pipelines using Maven, Git, and Jenkins or Azure DevOps.

•Troubleshoot production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and tune performance using Anypoint Monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk or ELK.

•Contribute to estimation, solution proposals, and technical documentation (HLD, LLD, runbooks).

•Mentor junior developers,

conduct code reviews, and enforce coding and security standards across the team.

Data and agentic workstreams

•Design solutions that combine MuleSoft real-time APIs with Informatica batch data integration and replication, choosing the right layer for each data flow rather than defaulting to one.

•Integrate with Informatica MDM to consume and publish golden records, and work with clients on survivorship, match/merge, and multi-domain mastering implications for downstream systems.

•Build pipelines that feed Data 360 unified customer profiles — via MuleSoft API-based publication, zero-copy access to warehouses such as Snowflake or Redshift, and native Salesforce ingestion — and support real-time activation across channels.

•Implement agent connectivity using MCP and A2A patterns, registering and exposing enterprise systems as governed tools for AI agents.

•Apply policy and security enforcement, agent orchestration, and end-to-end observability to agentic solutions, including tracking and managing token consumption and cost.

•Ensure data lineage and provenance are preserved from source systems through Informatica into agents and MCP servers, so agent outputs are explainable and auditable.

•Advise clients on where governed data ends and agent autonomy begins — including guardrails, human-in-the-loop checkpoints, and failure modes.

Required Qualifications

•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

•4–6 years of total IT experience, with at least 3 years hands-on with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.

•Strong working knowledge of Mule 4, Anypoint Studio, and DataWeave 2.0.

•Demonstrated experience delivering at least two end-to-end MuleSoft implementations from design through go-live.

•Solid grasp of REST and SOAP web services, API design principles, and integration patterns (pub/sub, request-reply, event-driven, batch).

•Working knowledge of Java,

along with SQL and relational databases.

•Experience with Git-based version control and CI/CD practices.

•Understanding of integration security: TLS/mTLS, OAuth 2.0, encryption, secrets management, and secure credential handling.

•Working understanding of master data management and data governance concepts — golden records, data quality rules, cataloguing, and lineage — and how they constrain integration design.

•Familiarity with customer data platform concepts: unified profiles, identity resolution, zero-copy data sharing, and real-time segmentation and activation.

•Practical understanding of agentic AI: what an AI agent is, how MCP exposes tools and context to agents, and why registry, policy enforcement, and observability matter at enterprise scale.

- Awareness of the Salesforce ecosystem direction — how MuleSoft, Informatica, Data 360, and Agentforce are positioned to work together — and the ability to explain that story to a client.

•Robust communication skills, with the ability to work directly with client teams and present technical concepts clearly.

Preferred Qualifications

•MuleSoft Certified Developer – Level 1 and Level 2, or MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect.

•Experience with Anypoint MQ, Object Store, VM queues, and Flex Gateway.

•Exposure to Universal API Management, API governance, and MuleSoft Composer or RPA.

•Hands-on experience with the Informatica MDM Connector for MuleSoft, or with IDMC, Cloud Data Integration, CDGC, or Cloud Address Verification.

•Experience with Informatica MCP servers, or with building and consuming MCP servers generally.

•Exposure to MuleSoft Agent Fabric — agent registry, agent broker, and context catalog — or comparable agent orchestration tooling.

•Hands-on Salesforce Data Cloud / Data 360 experience: data streams, data model objects, identity resolution, calculated insights, and activation targets.

•Familiarity with Agentforce, or with building agents on other frameworks (LangGraph, Bedrock Agents, Azure AI Foundry).

•Salesforce certifications such as Data Cloud Consultant or AI Specialist.

•Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure-as-code.

•Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum delivery and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
