About SkinBaeSkinBae is building a curated Korean skincare platform in India. We work closely with global brands and focus on thoughtful storytelling, strong visuals, and education-led marketing.

Role OverviewThis role is about owning content end to end across the brand. You will work across websites, marketplaces, CRM, performance marketing, campaigns, PR, customer communication, and offline marketing, ensuring that everything we write is clear, consistent, accurate, and aligned with the brand.

This is not just writing. It involves research, strategic thinking, content planning, structuring information, maintaining the brand voice, and making sure content actually helps the business and the customer.

What You Will Own

Content Strategy & Brand Voice

- Develop and execute content strategies aligned with SkinBae’s short-term and long-term marketing and business goals
- Define and maintain a consistent brand voice across website, marketplaces, CRM, campaigns, social media, PR, and other communication channels
- Provide content and messaging inputs for marketing campaigns, product launches, and brand initiatives
- Identify content gaps and opportunities across customer touchpoints
- Plan and manage content calendars, timelines, and workflows to ensure timely execution
- Continuously improve content processes and workflows for better quality and efficiency

Website & Marketplace Content

- Own content across SkinBae’s website and marketplace platforms
- Write detailed product descriptions and PDP content that clearly communicate product benefits, ingredients, usage, and key differentiators
- Develop and optimise product titles, bullet points, metadata, FAQs, and other listing content
- Adapt content for marketplace-specific requirements across platforms such as Amazon, Nykaa, TIRA, and other relevant marketplaces
- Review and optimise existing product listings to improve clarity, discoverability, and conversion
- Ensure all product and marketplace content is accurate, consistent, and aligned with brand guidelines

Marketplace & Campaign Creative Content

- Develop copy for marketplace banners, sale banners, campaign creatives, and promotional communication
- Create brand-led and performance-focused messaging for marketplace campaigns
- Ensure banner messaging is aligned with ongoing campaigns, offers, launches, and marketing objectives
- Work with designers to ensure copy and visuals work together effectively

SEO & Blog Content

- Research and write long-form educational content and blogs related to skincare, beauty, ingredients, products, and customer education
- Conduct SEO keyword research and incorporate relevant keywords naturally into content
- Optimise titles, headings, metadata,



internal linking, and other on-page content elements
- Review and update existing content based on SEO performance, search trends, and changing customer needs
- Ensure educational content is well-researched, accurate, easy to understand, and genuinely useful

Email & WhatsApp Marketing

- Own content for email and WhatsApp campaigns across launches, promotions, sales, and brand initiatives
- Develop lifecycle communication including welcome, retention, repeat purchase, product education, and brand storytelling
- Write subject lines, headlines, body copy, CTAs, and other campaign messaging
- Adapt communication based on customer stage, campaign objective, and audience
- Work closely with the marketing and CRM teams to ensure content supports customer engagement and business goals

Performance Marketing & Ad Copy

- Write high-converting copy for performance marketing campaigns across Meta, Google, and other relevant platforms
- Develop hooks, headlines, primary text, CTAs, and different messaging angles for performance creatives
- Work with Performance Marketing and Design teams to develop and improve campaign messaging
- Understand campaign objectives and customer intent when developing performance-focused content
- Review content performance and use insights to improve future copy and messaging

PR & Brand Communication

- Develop content for press releases, PR emails, media communication, and brand announcements
- Support brand storytelling and communication for launches, partnerships, events, and other initiatives
- Ensure all external communication reflects SkinBae’s positioning, tone, and messaging

Customer Success & Sales Enablement

- Develop product decks, FAQs, scripts, product education material, and other customer-facing content
- Create content that helps customer support and sales teams communicate product information clearly
- Work with relevant teams to identify recurring customer questions and improve educational content
- Ensure product communication is accurate, easy to understand, and consistent across channels

Content & Design Collaboration

- Work closely with designers to develop content for static creatives, video creatives, website banners, marketplace banners, CRM, and campaigns
- Provide explicit content direction and messaging for creative execution
- Review and provide feedback on creatives to ensure they are aligned with the brand voice, campaign objective, and communication strategy
- Review and approve content before it goes live where required

Retail & Visual Merchandising

- Support content and communication for retail activations, in-store branding, events, and offline marketing initiatives
- Develop messaging for retail displays, product communication, promotional material, and other offline brand touchpoints
- Ensure offline communication remains consistent with SkinBae’s overall brand voice and positioning

Content Quality & Governance

- Edit, proofread, and review content across channels to maintain high standards of grammar, clarity, accuracy, and consistency
- Ensure product claims, ingredient information, product benefits,



and other factual content are properly researched and accurate
- Conduct regular content audits and identify areas for improvement
- Maintain consistency in terminology, messaging, tone, and brand guidelines across all content

Performance & Optimisation

- Monitor content performance across relevant channels and campaigns
- Analyse engagement, conversion, SEO, CRM, and campaign performance where relevant
- Identify content trends, gaps, and opportunities based on data and customer behaviour
- Continuously test, optimise, and improve content based on performance insights
- Work with relevant teams to understand what content is performing and why

Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Work closely with Marketing, Performance Marketing, E-commerce, Design, Social Media, Customer Support, and other teams
- Translate business and campaign objectives into clear content requirements
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure content is delivered accurately and within timelines
- Contribute content and strategic inputs to product launches, campaigns, and broader marketing initiatives

Leadership & Process Improvement

- Support the development of content processes, guidelines, and SOPs
- Help build scalable systems for content planning, creation, review, and publishing
- Support and guide junior writers and creators where required
- Review content produced by junior team members and provide constructive feedback
- Help maintain SkinBae’s content quality and brand standards as the team grows
- Stay updated with content trends, SEO developments, consumer behaviour, AI tools, and emerging content formats
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve the way SkinBae communicates with customers

What We’re Looking For

- 3–5 years of content writing, content strategy, copywriting, or content marketing experience
- Strong command of written English
- Experience creating content across multiple formats and channels
- Strong understanding of SEO and content optimisation
- Experience with website, PDP, marketplace, CRM, and marketing content is preferred
- Ability to research, think independently, and structure information clearly
- Strong understanding of customer communication and brand storytelling
- Interest in beauty, skincare, consumer brands, or e-commerce
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently
- Someone who takes ownership and cares about the quality of the final output
