Role Description The Senior Civil Engineer will work full time on-site in Canada, supporting Esse India’s projects that require civil engineering expertise, particularly in areas related to infrastructure planning and development. This role involves leading civil engineering design activities, preparing detailed drawings and reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

The Senior Civil

Engineer will manage stormwater management plans, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and oversee site evaluations to support project feasibility and execution. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing designs, providing technical guidance to junior team members, collaborating with project managers,



and maintaining clear documentation to support both internal stakeholders and external partners.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Civil Engineering and proven experience working as a Civil Engineer on infrastructure or land development projects.
- Proficiency in Civil Engineering Design, including preparation of drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
- Experience with Planning activities such as site layout, infrastructure planning, and coordination with regulatory authorities.
- Hands-on experience in Stormwater Management, including design of drainage systems and mitigation measures in line with local standards.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, civil design software) used in civil engineering projects.
- Robust analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and provide technical leadership to junior engineers.
- Prior experience in Indian infrastructure projects or regional regulatory environments is an advantage.
