Sr.Citrix admin , Xenapp

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced System Administrator specializing in server management, with a strong emphasis on Citrix Xen Server administration. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing and optimizing server environments, ensuring high availability and performance. This role requires a proactive approach to system maintenance, troubleshooting, and support, as well as the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities: Administer and maintain Citrix Xen Server environments, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to enhance server efficiency. Manage server configurations, updates, and patches to ensure security and compliance.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement server architecture and infrastructure improvements. Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other IT staff. Document system configurations, processes, and procedures for future reference and training.

Participate in disaster recovery planning and execution to ensure business continuity. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies related to server administration and virtualization.

Mandatory Skills:



Strong expertise in Citrix Xen Server administration. Proficient in server virtualization technologies and best practices.

Experience with Windows and Linux server environments. Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues effectively. Robust scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) for automation and system management.

Preferred Skills: Experience with other virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V). Knowledge of cloud technologies and services (e.g., AWS, Azure). Familiarity with backup and recovery solutions.

Certifications related to Citrix, server administration, or virtualization (e.g., CCA, MCSE).

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 7-10 years of experience in system administration, with a focus on server management. Proven experience in managing Citrix Xen Server environments. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
