Role Type: Hands-on Infrastructure Administration

We are looking for a hands-on Wintel & Cloud Administrator with robust experience managing enterprise Windows Server infrastructure along with exposure to Microsoft Azure and/or AWS.

This is an infrastructure administration role and not a Technical Support Voice, Helpdesk, Service Desk, Desktop Support or End-User Support position. Candidates should have hands-on experience managing, configuring and troubleshooting production Windows servers and virtual/cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

- Administer and troubleshoot Windows Server 2016 / 2019 / 2022 environments.
- Manage production Windows infrastructure including server provisioning, configuration, patching, upgrades, migrations and decommissioning.
- Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and DHCP.
- Manage virtualization environments using VMware vSphere/ESXi/vCenter and/or Hyper-V.
- Troubleshoot production issues involving Windows servers, Domain Controllers, services, filesystem, CPU/memory/disk utilization and server hardware.
- Manage Windows Failover Clustering / High Availability, with exposure to NLB and DFS.
- Administer and troubleshoot IIS, application pools, services and SSL certificates.
- Perform Windows Server patching using WSUS / SCCM / MECM / similar enterprise patching tools.
- Perform server hardening, vulnerability remediation and antivirus/security-agent management.
- Monitor server health, application/system logs, backups, scheduled jobs and infrastructure alerts.
- Work on backup, recovery and disaster-recovery activities.
- Use PowerShell for Windows administration, troubleshooting and automation.
- Handle P1/P2 infrastructure incidents, perform RCA and work within Incident/Change/Problem Management processes.
- Coordinate with Network, Storage, Backup, Security, Database, Cloud and Application teams during production incidents and infrastructure changes.

which specifically requires Windows Server administration, IIS, VMware/Hyper-V, clustering/NLB/DFS, WSUS, GPO/DNS, production-server troubleshooting, monitoring and server upgrades.

Cloud Experience Required

Candidates should have hands-on exposure to Microsoft Azure and/or AWS infrastructure, preferably supporting Windows workloads.

Azure exposure may include: Azure Virtual Machines, VNets/Subnets, NSG, Storage, Azure Backup, Azure Site Recovery, Azure Monitor, Entra ID, RBAC, Key Vault and Update Manager.

AWS exposure may include: EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, EBS, Security Groups, CloudWatch, AWS Backup and Windows workloads hosted on EC2.

We are not looking for a pure Cloud Engineer either. The ideal candidate should have a strong Windows/Wintel administration foundation and then cloud infrastructure exposure on top of it.

Having ServiceNow or ticket-handling experience is absolutely finethe differentiator is that the candidate should be resolving server/infrastructure incidents, not primarily end-user issues
