Role Overview

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior AI Agentic / MFCS Integration Engineer with 9+ years of overall IT experience, including strong hands-on experience in AI Agentic Development, Generative AI, Claude, and AWS.

The ideal candidate should also have good working knowledge of Oracle Merchandise Foundation Cloud Service (MFCS) and retail merchandising processes, along with supporting experience in Java, Kafka, Merchandising APIs, POM, and MFCS batch/base jobs.

The role requires a senior engineer who can combine AI Agentic capabilities with enterprise retail systems and integration technologies to design, develop, and enhance intelligent automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop,



and implement AI Agentic solutions using modern Generative AI and LLM technologies.
- Build and integrate AI agents, agentic workflows, tool calling, orchestration, and autonomous task execution.
- Work with Claude and AWS AI/ML services to develop enterprise-grade AI solutions.
- Identify opportunities to use AI agents for automation, operational support, troubleshooting, monitoring, and retail business processes.
- Integrate AI agents with enterprise applications, APIs, databases, and backend services.
- Work on MFCS Stock Ledger and WAC (Weighted Average Cost) related processes.
- Support and troubleshoot MFCS month-end and weekend processing/jobs.
- Work with MFCS Merchandising APIs, POM (Process Orchestration Management), and MFCS base/batch jobs.
- Develop and maintain integrations using Java and Kafka.
- Analyze production issues and provide root-cause analysis across MFCS, Java, Kafka, APIs, and batch processing.
- Collaborate with business, functional, and technical teams to understand retail requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Ensure AI-enabled solutions meet enterprise standards for security, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.

Required Skills

- 9+ years of overall IT experience with significant recent experience in AI/Generative AI and Agentic Development.
- Robust hands-on experience building AI Agents and Agentic AI applications.
- Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, tool/function calling, agent orchestration, RAG, and AI workflows.




- Strong experience with Claude / Anthropic models.
- Hands-on experience with AWS AI/ML services and cloud-based AI solutions.
- Experience integrating AI agents with REST APIs, enterprise applications, databases, and external tools.
- Understanding of multi-agent architectures, agent memory, context management, and autonomous workflows is preferred.
- Ability to identify and implement practical AI automation use cases within enterprise applications.
- Strong working knowledge of Oracle MFCS (Merchandise Foundation Cloud Service).
- Experience with MFCS Stock Ledger and WAC.
- Knowledge of MFCS month-end processing and weekend jobs.
- Experience with Merchandising APIs.
- Knowledge of POM (Process Orchestration Management).
- Experience with MFCS base/batch jobs.
- Understanding of retail merchandising and inventory processes is preferred.
- Good hands-on knowledge of Java.
- Experience with Kafka / event-driven architecture.
- Knowledge of REST APIs and enterprise integration patterns.
- Experience troubleshooting distributed integrations and backend services.
- Exposure to cloud-native application development and AWS services.
- Experience delivering AI Agentic solutions in production environments.
- Experience using Claude with AWS-based applications.
- Retail domain experience, particularly Oracle Retail / MFCS.
- Knowledge of microservices, APIs, event-driven architecture, and cloud integration.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
