Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, financial records, statutory compliance and reporting for a growing Gems & Jewellery organization. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting fundamentals and preferably experience in jewellery, retail, trading or manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, payments and journal entries.

- Maintain accurate books of accounts and ensure timely reconciliation.

- Handle GST, TDS and other statutory accounting compliances.

- Prepare monthly MIS, financial statements and management reports.

- Perform bank, vendor, customer and ledger reconciliations.

- Monitor accounts payable and receivable.

- Maintain proper documentation of invoices, vouchers and supporting records.

- Assist in inventory and stock accounting, including reconciliation of jewellery/gold-related transactions.

- Coordinate with auditors, consultants,



banks and statutory authorities when required.

- Support budgeting, cash-flow monitoring and financial analysis.

- Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and procedures.

Desired Skills

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and taxation.

- Working knowledge of Tally/ERP and MS Excel.

- Good understanding of GST, TDS and statutory compliance.

- Solid analytical and reconciliation skills.

- Attention to detail and numerical accuracy.

- Experience in Gems & Jewellery, Retail, Trading or Manufacturing will be an advantage.

Eligibility

- Graduate in Commerce / B.Com/M.Com or equivalent;

- 4–6 years of relevant experience.

- Willingness to relocate to Mumbai from West Bengal.

- Immediate joiners preferred.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
