We're looking for an experienced SEO Specialist with 2+ years of hands-on experience to join our growing remote team.

Nexalton is a B2B technology and strategy firm. We help business owners fix what's slowing them down: systems, websites, automation, AI, and search visibility. We work with clients across healthcare, skilled services, and technology, and we're proud to have taken accounts from invisible to category-leading in organic search.

We're a fully remote team working across time zones, and we're looking for someone ready to take real ownership of our search performance.

About The Role

As an SEO Specialist at Nexalton, you'll own day-to-day search execution across our client portfolio and our own brands. This role is perfect for you if:

- You're genuinely passionate about SEO and keep up with how search is changing, including AI Overviews and answer engines.
- You have 2+ years of experience driving organic traffic and improving rankings.
- You want a remote role with real ownership, not a task queue.
- You enjoy working closely with a small team of strategists, content writers, and designers.
- You're as comfortable in Search Console and a crawl report as you are in a content brief.
- You care about outcomes such as leads and conversions, not just position tracking.

Requirements

- 2+ years of hands-on SEO experience (keyword research, technical SEO, on-page, and off-page).
- Familiarity with SEO tools (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog).
- Hands-on experience with WordPress, including Elementor and Yoast or Rank Math.
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS,



and JavaScript and how they affect crawling and rendering.
- Solid understanding of site architecture, internal linking, structured data, and Core Web Vitals.
- Ability to build a data-driven SEO roadmap and actually execute it.
- Proven experience improving organic visibility for clients across traffic, rankings, and conversions.
- Strong written English and the judgement to hold content to a standard.

Nice-to-haves

- Experience with SEO for the healthcare sector.
- Local SEO and Google Business Profile management across multiple locations.
- Experience optimizing for AI search surfaces (AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity).
- SaaS or product website SEO.
- Familiarity with CRM and automation tools (GoHighLevel, HubSpot, Zapier, Make).

Responsibilities

- Conduct keyword research and build search strategies that map to real business goals.
- Implement on-page optimizations, including content updates, metadata, schema markup, and internal linking.
- Run technical SEO audits and work with our development team to get issues fixed.
- Manage local SEO and Google Business Profile listings where applicable.
- Protect and grow rankings on established, competitive accounts. Defence matters as much as offence.
- Collaborate with our content and graphics teams to brief, optimize,



and publish content.
- Track and report on performance monthly, tying organic work to leads and conversions.
- Document your work clearly so knowledge lives with the team, not in one person's head.
- Stay ahead of algorithm and industry changes and adjust strategy accordingly.

Timezone Requirement This position requires availability from 10 AM to 2 PM Toronto Time (EST). Outside of these core working hours, you will have the flexibility to set your own schedule.

Compensation

₹45,000 to ₹60,000 per month, based on experience.
