: SDLC & Generative AI Architect / Lead

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced SDLC & Generative AI Architect / Lead to define technology strategy, architect AI-enabled software development solutions, and lead engineering teams across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

The ideal candidate will combine strong software architecture and engineering leadership with hands-on expertise in Generative AI, LLMs, AI-assisted development, cloud technologies, and modern SDLC practices. The role requires someone who can work with business and technology stakeholders, drive architecture decisions, and lead teams from ideation through production and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the architecture and implementation of end-to-end SDLC solutions across requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and operations.
- Define and implement Gen AI strategies for software engineering, automation, developer productivity, and enterprise applications.
- Design solutions leveraging LLMs, RAG, AI agents, prompt engineering, vector databases, and AI orchestration frameworks.
- Identify opportunities to integrate Gen AI into coding, code review, testing, documentation, DevOps, application modernization, and support.
- Establish architecture standards, design principles, reusable patterns, and technology roadmaps.
- Lead technical teams and mentor architects, developers, and engineers.
- Collaborate with product owners, engineering leaders, security teams, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
- Drive CI/CD, DevSecOps, Agile, automated testing, cloud-native development, and engineering best practices.
- Evaluate emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and models and assess their applicability to enterprise use cases.
- Ensure solutions meet requirements for security,



scalability, performance, reliability, governance, and responsible AI.
- Provide technical leadership for POCs and take successful Gen AI solutions from prototype to production.
- Define metrics for engineering productivity, quality, AI adoption, and business value.
- Support technical presentations, architecture reviews, and customer/stakeholder discussions.

Required Skills & Experience
- 12+ years of experience in software engineering, architecture, technology leadership, or related roles.
- Robust understanding of the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect, Technical Architect, Enterprise Architect, Engineering Lead, or similar leadership role.
- Strong hands-on experience with Generative AI and LLM-based solutions.
- Experience with:
- LLMs and AI APIs
- Prompt engineering
- RAG architectures
- Vector databases
- AI agents / agentic workflows
- AI orchestration frameworks
- Model evaluation and governance
- Strong programming experience in one or more languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or C#.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong knowledge of microservices, APIs, distributed systems, databases, containers, Kubernetes, and cloud-native architecture.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD, DevOps/DevSecOps, Agile, automated testing, and application lifecycle management.




- Experience leading cross-functional engineering teams and managing technical delivery.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, architecture documentation, and presentation skills.

- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect
- Google Cloud Professional Machine Learning Engineer

- AWS Certified Machine Learning / AI-related certification
- TOGAF certification
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
- SAFe / Agile certifications
- Relevant Generative AI, Machine Learning, or AI Engineering certifications

- Act as a technology thought leader for SDLC modernization and Gen AI adoption.
- Establish and communicate the technical vision and architecture roadmap.
- Lead by example with hands-on architecture and technical problem solving.
- Mentor senior engineers and architects and build strong technical capability within the organization.
- Balance innovation with enterprise security, governance, cost, and operational considerations.
- Influence senior stakeholders and drive technology decisions across multiple teams.

Education
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Relevant professional certifications in Cloud, AI/ML, Architecture, DevOps, or Agile are an advantage.
