About the Role

Ocean Sky Logistics is looking for an experienced and commercially driven Sea Import Pricing Executive / Manager to manage competitive pricing solutions for international Sea Freight Import shipments into India. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Sea Freight Import Rates, Shipping Lines, NVOCCs, Co-loaders, Overseas Agents, Trade Lanes and International Freight Forwarding Pricing.

The selected candidate will be responsible for obtaining competitive ocean freight rates, preparing profitable quotations, coordinating with overseas agents and vendors, supporting the Sales team and developing cost-effective Sea Import solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage daily Sea Import Freight Pricing and Quotations.
- Obtain competitive Sea Freight rates from Shipping Lines, NVOCCs, Co-loaders and Overseas Agents.
- Negotiate ocean freight rates and commercial terms with vendors and service providers.
- Prepare competitive and profitable quotations for customers and the Sales team.
- Handle FCL and LCL Import pricing requirements.
- Manage spot rates, contract rates and customer-specific pricing.
- Analyse ocean freight, origin charges, destination charges and other applicable costs.
- Coordinate with overseas agents for import freight rates and local charges at origin.
- Monitor changes in Sea Freight market rates, shipping schedules, capacity and routing options.
- Develop competitive pricing solutions for major international trade lanes into India.




- Coordinate closely with the Sales team to support new business opportunities.
- Ensure quotations are commercially competitive while maintaining appropriate profit margins.
- Compare shipping line and NVOCC options based on rate, transit time, routing and service availability.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Shipping Lines, NVOCCs, Co-loaders and Overseas Agents.
- Maintain updated Sea Import rate sheets and pricing records.
- Respond quickly to urgent pricing requests and customer enquiries.
- Coordinate with Sea Import Operations to ensure quoted services and charges are operationally feasible.
- Support management with market intelligence, rate trends and commercial opportunities.

Required Experience & Qualifications

Candidates should have:

- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Sea Import Pricing within an International Freight Forwarding company.
- Robust knowledge of international Sea Freight Import operations.
- Experience obtaining and negotiating rates with Shipping Lines, NVOCCs, Co-loaders and Overseas Agents.
- Good knowledge of FCL and LCL Import pricing.
- Understanding of major international trade lanes and shipping routes.
- Knowledge of ocean freight, origin charges, destination charges and applicable surcharges.
- Experience preparing quotations for import customers and overseas partners.
- Ability to analyse buying rates, selling rates and shipment profitability.




- Strong commercial and negotiation skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and pricing/rate management.
- Graduate degree/diploma in a relevant field will be preferred.
