Job Summary The Standard India is seeking a Scrum Master III who will act as a servant leader, delivery champion, and catalyst for continuous improvement within our Agile product teams. In this role, you will enable delivery excellence by facilitating Agile practices, tracking team capacity, velocity, and flow metrics, and helping teams improve predictability and delivery outcomes.
You will proactively identify and remove impediments, coordinate dependencies, and help teams navigate organizational processes so engineers can remain focused on delivering customer value. Working closely with Product Owners and engineering teams, you will support backlog readiness, sprint planning, prioritization, and risk management while promoting transparency and accountability.
The successful candidate will foster a culture of trust, collaboration, continuous improvement, and customer focus. This role requires robust facilitation skills, proactive problem-solving, and a passion for helping Agile teams achieve high performance.
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, India is a requirement of the role.*
Mode of Working: This role follows a hybrid work model, with a primary base in Bengaluru. While on-site presence is essential for key engagements, flexibility is offered for remote work based on business needs and team alignment.
Skills And Background You’ll Need Education: A B.E. / B.Tech degree is required. Preferred Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), PSM I/II, or equivalent.
Experience
- Typically requires 5+ years as a Scrum Master or Agile team facilitator.
- Solid understanding of Scrum, Kanban, Agile principles, and practical team-focused application.
- Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Reviews, Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement.
- Ability to analyze and leverage team metrics such as velocity, throughput, cycle time, and flow efficiency to support continuous improvement.
- Strong communication and facilitation skills with the ability to influence without formal authority.
- Ability to identify, manage, and escalate blockers, dependencies, and risks.
- Experience fostering team collaboration, accountability, and psychological safety.
- Proven ability to work effectively with Product Owners, engineering teams, and stakeholders.
- Experience using Jira, Confluence, Agile reporting dashboards, Miro, or similar collaboration tools.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery metrics and continuous improvement techniques.
- Strong facilitation, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
