We are looking for an experienced SAP PM / PP-PI Solution Architect with robust hands-on expertise in SAP Plant Maintenance (PM/EAM) and PP-PI (Process Industries). The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading end-to-end SAP implementations, designing scalable solutions, and working closely with business stakeholders across global transformation programs. The candidate should have strong domain knowledge in Life Sciences, Pharmaceuticals, Process Manufacturing, or similar process industries, with expertise in maintenance planning, batch management, production planning, sampling, calibration, and cross-module integration.

Key Responsibilities SAP PM / EAM Lead full lifecycle SAP PM implementations from requirement gathering and blueprinting through configuration, testing, cutover, go-live, and hypercare. Conduct workshops with maintenance teams, planners, engineers, business users, and senior stakeholders. Translate business requirements into scalable SAP PM/EAM solutions.

Design and configure: Preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance Maintenance planning and scheduling Maintenance notifications and orders Calibration Refurbishment Warranty management Maintenance strategies and plans Task lists and work centers Measuring points and counters Configure and manage PM master data including Equipment, Functional Locations, Equipment BOMs, Task Lists, Maintenance Plans, Measuring Points, and Work Centers. Configure maintenance order types, notification types, priorities, catalogs, planning parameters, and related PM settings. Provide functional leadership on SAP PM/EAM architecture and best practices.

SAP PP-PI / Process Manufacturing Provide strong functional expertise in SAP PP-PI within process manufacturing and Life Sciences environments. Design and support production planning, batch management, process orders, sampling processes, and related manufacturing scenarios. Understand and optimize process manufacturing business flows.

Work closely with PP-PI, QM, MM, and other functional teams to ensure end-to-end process integration. Cross-Module Integration Design and support integration between SAP PM, PP-PI, QM, MM, FI/CO, PS, and CS. Work with SAP QM teams on quality inspections, calibration, sampling, and maintenance-related quality processes.

Ensure seamless integration with procurement, inventory, production, finance, controlling,



and project processes. Collaborate with technical teams on interfaces, enhancements, reports, BAPIs/BADIs, user exits, workflows, and other developments. Implementation & Delivery Lead requirement analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.

Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, process flows, test scripts, training materials, and solution documentation. Develop and execute unit, system integration, regression, and UAT scenarios. Lead defect analysis and functional troubleshooting.

Support cutover, migration activities, go-live, and stabilization. Manage change requests, enhancements, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives. Provide functional leadership and mentoring to junior consultants and project team members.

Support knowledge transfer to client teams and internal consultants.

Stakeholder Management

Act as a trusted SAP functional advisor to business stakeholders and customer leadership. Facilitate workshops and confidently present solution approaches to senior management. Translate complex business requirements into practical SAP solutions. Drive standardization, process optimization, automation, and adoption of SAP best practices. Participate in global project meetings and business travel when required.

The ideal candidate should have: 8+ years of SAP PM experience. At least 3 successful end-to-end SAP implementations. Strong hands-on SAP PM configuration experience. Excellent understanding of process manufacturing / Life Sciences business processes.
