You will ensure successful support and delivery of the next S/4HANA release by enhancing and maintaining SAP FICO solutions within the existing S/4HANA landscape, at a tech company in the Food & Beverage Services sector. You will work closely with technical leads, functional peers and business stakeholders and report to the S/4HANA Release Manager.

What you will do

- Deliver functional solutions for finance and controlling changes required by the next S/4HANA release, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
- Configure and maintain FI and CO in S/4HANA and own related functional documentation (configuration specs, test scripts).
- Lead and execute testing activities (unit, integration, regression) for FICO changes and validate end-to-end integration with SD/MM and other modules.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production and release-related issues, driving fixes through to closure and preventing regressions.
- Coach and provide knowledge transfer to junior consultants to raise team capability and reduce repeat incidents.

What you bring




- Robust hands-on experience in SAP FICO (Finance & Controlling) with practical S/4HANA configuration experience.
- Minimum of two completed SAP S/4HANA implementation projects and demonstrable experience supporting or delivering S/4HANA release upgrades.
- Solid understanding and configuration experience across core FI sub-modules (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting) and CO sub-modules (Cost Center, Profit Center, Internal Orders, Product Costing).
- Experience integrating FICO with SD and MM and working with cross-functional technical teams.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with experience executing unit, integration and regression testing.
- Good communication skills and ability to translate business requirements into functional solutions.
- Based in or willing to relocate to Chennai, India.

Nice to have
- SAP S/4HANA certification in Finance or Controlling.
- Experience in CPG / manufacturing or related industry verticals.
- Exposure to SAP Central Finance or Group Reporting and prior onsite/offshore delivery model experience.
