SAP FICO Consultant Key Responsibilities:

Implement and configure SAP FICO modules to support end-to-end financial and controlling processes

Integrate FICO with other SAP modules (MM, SD, PP, HCM) and third-party systems

Conduct requirements gathering, blueprinting, and GAP analysis to design business-aligned solutions

Configure sub-modules including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Bank Accounting (BA), and Controlling (CO)

Perform system testing (Unit, Integration, and UAT) and support data migration and validation activities

Develop training materials, conduct user training sessions, and prepare functional documentation

Provide post-go-live support, issue resolution, and process enhancements

Collaborate closely with technical teams, business users, and client stakeholders to ensure successful delivery

Required Skills Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO configuration and support

Solid expertise in GL, AP, AR, AA, BA, CO-CCA, CO-PCA, and Internal Orders

Experience with integration points between FICO and MM, SD, and other SAP modules





Working knowledge of S/4HANA Finance, New GL, and Asset Accounting migration

Experience with financial reporting tools, cost center accounting, and profitability analysis (CO-PA)

Bachelor s/Master s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Information Technology

Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills

Fluent in English; other languages (e.g., Arabic, German) are an advantage

Preferred Skills:

Experience working with public sector or large enterprise clients

Knowledge of taxation, IFRS/local GAAP, and statutory reporting requirements

Familiarity with data security, audit, and compliance standards (e.g., SOX, GDPR)

Exposure to SAP Cloud Integration (CPI), S/4HANA Central Finance, and hybrid system landscapes (SAP ECC + S/4HANA)
