Role Description The SAP ERP Specialist is a full-time, in office role based in Ahmedabad. This role involves configuring, maintaining, and supporting SAP ERP modules to align with Emami’s business processes in areas such as finance, supply chain, manufacturing, and sales. The specialist will collaborate with functional stakeholders to gather requirements, map and optimize business processes, and implement system enhancements and integrations.

Daily responsibilities include monitoring system performance,



troubleshooting issues, coordinating with internal IT and external vendors, and ensuring data integrity and compliance with company policies. The role also includes preparing documentation, conducting user training, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the ERP landscape.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) concepts and practical experience with ERP Software such as SAP ERP.
- Experience in Business Process understanding and Business Process Improvement, including mapping workflows and optimizing operations.
- Demonstrated Analytical Skills for diagnosing system issues, interpreting data, and supporting decision-making.
- Hands-on experience implementing, configuring, or supporting SAP ERP modules (e.g., MM, SD, FI, CO, PP) is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong documentation, organization, and time-management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience in FMCG or manufacturing environments and familiarity with integration between ERP and other enterprise systems is an advantage.
