? Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP BASIS Consultant with 4–6 years of hands-on experience in SAP system administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and production support. The candidate should have good exposure to SAP environments and be comfortable handling technical issues in a production landscape.

? Key Responsibilities

- Perform SAP BASIS administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting across SAP landscapes.
- Manage SAP system availability, performance, and day-to-day technical operations.
- Hands-on experience with SAP HANA administration, database monitoring, backup, and recovery.
- Handle SAP installations, upgrades, patches, kernel upgrades, and support pack activities.
- Manage SAP Transport Management System (STMS) and transport requests across landscapes.
- Configure and troubleshoot RFC connections, background jobs, printers, users, and system interfaces.
- Perform client administration, system refreshes, and environment maintenance.
- Monitor system performance and resolve CPU, memory, database, job,



and connectivity-related issues.
- Support SAP production environments, incident management, root-cause analysis, and problem resolution.
- Coordinate with functional, infrastructure, database, and application teams for issue resolution.
- Maintain technical documentation and follow established ITIL/change management processes.

? Required Skills
- 4–6 years of hands-on experience in SAP BASIS.
- Strong knowledge of SAP ECC / S/4HANA environments.
- Good understanding of SAP HANA Database Administration.
- Experience with STMS, RFC, background jobs, SAP profiles, users and authorizations.
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix and/or Windows operating systems.
- Experience in SAP monitoring, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and production support.
- Valuable communication and problem-solving skills.

? Preferred
- Exposure to SAP Solution Manager / monitoring tools.
- Knowledge of HA/DR, backup & recovery, and disaster recovery.
- SAP BASIS certification is an added advantage.
